Ok, I admit it. I often have a need for spped that cannot be released on an average highgwway. So here I am at the F1 Racetrack known as the Miami International Autodrome. SWEET!!
Imagine the roar of the engine, the blur of the track, the G-force pushing you back in your seat. Now imagine experiencing all of this at over 120 mph, on the very same track where Formula 1 legends battle for victory. That was my reality at the Miami International Autodrome, home of the electrifying F1 Miami Crypto.com Grand Prix, during a media day hot lap experience.

This isn't your average Sunday drive. This is the 1.3-mile circuit, a challenging ribbon of asphalt featuring two high-speed straightaways – one to the north and one to the south – punctuated by a series of demanding curves, tight turns, and hairpin bends. It's a course designed to test the limits of both driver and machine, a place where milliseconds matter and champions are made. And for a few exhilarating minutes, I got to experience a taste of that intensity.
Strapped into the passenger seat alongside a professional driver, the anticipation was palpable. The engine roared to life, a symphony of power that vibrated through the car and into my bones. Then, we were off. The acceleration was breathtaking, pushing me back into the seat as the world outside the window became a blur of color and speed.

In the image above, I am in the middle of the MIami Intyernational Autodrome where all the F1 action happens at blazing speeds and thrilling wheel to wheel racing. Navigating the twists and turns of the track was an exercise in controlled chaos. The driver expertly maneuvered the car, demonstrating the precision and skill required to tame this beast of a circuit. Each corner was a new challenge, a test of grip and nerve. The G-forces pressed against me, a physical reminder of the incredible forces at play. The sheer speed was exhilarating, a rush of adrenaline that left me breathless.

Pictured at left, Amil of Prestige Motor Club describes to me the twists, turns and aggressive speeds on the track that make being in the car during the Hotl Laps so thrilling. Hitting speeds over 120 mph on the straightaways was an absolute thrill.
The wind whipped past the car, the roar of the engine filled the air, and the track stretched out before us like an endless ribbon. It was in these moments that I truly understood the allure of Formula 1 racing, the draw of pushing the limits of speed and skill. To think that these drivers reach speeds exceeding 200 mph on this very track is simply mind-boggling.
The experience was over too quickly. As we slowed down and returned to the pit lane, I was left with a mix of exhilaration and disbelief. I had just experienced a small taste of what it's like to drive on a Formula 1 track, and it was an experience I will never forget. Some people emerged from their hot laps with wide grins, others with trembling hands, all united by the shared thrill of the ride. I, for one, was ready to jump back in and do it all over again.

This incredible experience wouldn't have been possible without the generosity and support of several key people and organizations. A huge thank you to McLaren for the opportunity to experience the thrill of the track. The F1 Miami Grand Prix team deserves immense credit for organizing such a fantastic event. To Tyler ERP and their team, thank you for your support and for making this dream a reality. And a special shout-out to Kim, Brett, Steph, and everyone else who contributed to this unforgettable experience. The setting itself, at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, added another layer of excitement to the event. The energy of the city, combined with the prestige of the Formula 1 brand, created an atmosphere that was truly electric.
More on the breathtaking McClaren 750 S

Yup, it's a Vibe!! Now lets pause for a moment to consider the incredible and beautiful beast that is the McClaren 750S, one of my favorite supercars. The McLaren 750S is a supercar that was first introduced for the 2024 model year. It is the successor to the McLaren 720S, and it features a number of improvements over its predecessor.
Here are some of the things that make the McLaren 750S so special:
More power: The 750S has a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 740 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. This is an increase of 30 horsepower and 22 lb-ft of torque over the 720S.  Â
Lighter weight: The 750S is also lighter than the 720S, thanks to the use of more carbon fiber and other lightweight materials. This helps to improve the car's performance and handling.  Â
Improved aerodynamics: The 750S has a number of aerodynamic enhancements, including a larger rear wing and a more aggressive front splitter. These changes help to increase downforce and improve the car's stability at high speeds.  Â
Enhanced interior:Â The interior of the 750S has also been updated with a new 8-inch touchscreen display and a more luxurious feel.
Limited production:Â The 750S is a limited-production car, with only 750 units being produced. This makes it even more exclusive and desirable.
Overall, the McLaren 750S is a very special supercar that offers a unique combination of performance, luxury, and exclusivity. It is sure to be a sought-after car by collectors and enthusiasts for many years to come.
